Eight Ordinary Concerns

Tibetan: འཇིག་རྟེན་ཆོས་བརྒྱད་, Wylie: ‘jig rten chos brgyad, Sanskrit: aṣṭalokadharma.

The normal preoccupations of unrealized people without a clear spiritual perspective. The eight ordinary (worldly) concerns are: gain and loss, pleasure and pain, praise and criticism, fame and infamy.
